Development Paths panel (Sat., Sept 13, 12:45pm – 2:30pm) This panel will bring the focus on the long-term approach and understanding linked to development processes. We will explore topics linked to the long run understanding of inequality within paths of economic development and bring a focus on institutional and social aspects of issues in political economy.
Elira Karaja (Organizing Committee) Elira is a postdoctoral researcher at Columbia University She conducted her doctoral research within the BEHL laboratory at UC Berkeley Economics Dept. with a focus on the interlink between political economy, economic history and institutional analysis for transition and emerging economies.
